State Bank of India (SBI) notification for 5092 posts of Clerical Cadre Assistants

JOB DESCRIPTION

State Bank of India (SBI) has released notification for the posts of Assistants in clerical cadre. Applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens for appointment as Assistants in clerical cadre in State Bank of India. Candidates can apply for  vacancies in one state only and will have to appear for the test from an examination centre for that particular state. Candidates can appear for the test only once under this recruitment project.

Educational Qualification : (As on 31.08.2014)

  1. A Graduate Degree from recognised university, or it's equivalent qualification (recognised by Central/State Government).
  2. The final year of Graduation/Semester students may also apply, if candidate is called for interview based on the condition, needs to produce the proof of having passed Graduation Examination before 31.08.2014.

Age Limit :

  1. Minimum : 20 years
  2. Maximum : 28 years (as on 01.05.2014).
  3. Candidates born between 02.05.1986 and 01.05.1994 are only eligible to apply.

Pay Scale :

  1. Selected personalities will get the pay scale of 7,200/- to 19,300/- Rupees per month.
  2. The total starting emoluments of a Clerical Cadre employee payable at Metro like Mumbai will be around Rs.17500/- per month including D.A. and other allowances will be at the present rate. 
  3. Allowances may be differed by the place of posting.

Mode of Selection :

  1. Final selection will be made on the basis of performance in the online test and interview taken together.
  2. Qualified candidates to be called for test or interview.
