Job Description :
This is an Application Support Analyst position. The individual will be working in JMPChase Mortgage Banking Technology applications. Responsibilities include maintaining multiple applications. This position is very hands-on and requires a strong ability to adapt to challenging problems and an intense desire to work as part of a cohesive team.
Major Responsibilities :
- Performing direct support of applications within the Mortgage Banking Technology space
- Creating and executing SQL queries to diagnose problems and provide resolution
- Working with end users to determine root cause of production issues
- Participating in disaster recovery events
- Partnering with peers and collaborating with other technical leaders in the firm, within and outside of MBTI
- Align team goals with those of Mortgage Banking IT & Business.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent work experience
- Excellent technical and analytical skills
- Strong oral and written communications skills with the ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels within the organization
- Proven track record of taking initiative and delivering results
- Experience working within large technology environments and supporting applications preferred
Technology Skill Set :
- Oracle
- .NET experience a plus
